I bought a new water bottle yesterday! It's the pink one. Before I'd just keep reusing those plastic ones until they were all broken, then I'd buy a new case of water bottles. Totally lame and much less eco-friendly, considering we have perfectly drinkable tap water!

Fun facts about my Kerplunk Stainless Steel Water Bottle taken from their site:

kerplunk Your Health!
Save your health by avoiding plastic. Kerplunk is completely BPA-free. No plastic here! Kerplunk bottles are made of 100% recyclable, high-quality, food grade stainless steel so they do not need an epoxy (plastic) lining like aluminum bottles.

kerplunk Your Cash!
Kerplunk bottles are well priced. There is no need to charge excessive prices for a simple stainless steel bottle. More importantly, you should not have to pay astronomical prices to protect your health and the health of your family. Also, you can save your money with our reusable stainless steel bottles instead of buying single use bottled water like Dasani or Aquafina.

kerplunk the Environment!
Save the environment by choosing reusable stainless steel over single use plastic bottled water. Visit you local municipal garbage transfer station and you will be astonished when you see all the plastic bottles. Those bottles are headed for a landfill site!

Kerplunk bottles are made from 300 series austenitic stainless steel. We use an extremely durable yet lightweight gauge for a maximum weight to strength ratio. No one wants to carry a heavy water bottle yet it has to be durable. Kerplunk is the best of both worlds.

Did you know that Kerplunk stainless steel…

  • Is one of the most hygienic surfaces for beverages and is very easy to clean because its unique surface has no pores or cracks to harbor dirt, grime or bacteria.
  • Looks great and requires minimal care because it will not chip or easily rust
  • It will not affect flavor and it does not react with acidic beverages (juice) or alcohol (beer!!...sweet beer…the nectar of life)
  • With proper care our stainless steel has a useful life expectancy of over 100 years and is totally recyclable.

kerplunk Manufacturing:
Kerplunk bottles are made to the highest of standards in three regions of the world. Depending on where you purchased your Kerplunk they are either manufactured in Mexico, India or China. All our production facilities are bound to our Code of Behavior which is enforced through regular random inspections.

So yay me for making another AWESOME decision! And isn't it pretty? I know you're all jealous.
